Who should run all-weather tires in Okotoks?

No. That is the point, with two honesty checks.

First, tread depth every fall: the snow bite of an all-weather fades before the tire is legally worn, so below about 4/32 of an inch it is an all-season in everything but name, and it is time to plan the replacement before the snow rather than after. Second, rotate on schedule, every 8,000 to 10,000 km, because a set that wears evenly keeps its winter rating longer.

If you do get caught, the fallback is simple: a set of winters on a second set of wheels for the bad months, and the all-weathers become your spring-to-fall tire with years left in them.
